Eductors -anybody tried it?

Has anyone tried eductors in their tank whether it's DIY or original?

am using a diy eductor stype nozzle..IMO, it creates a gentler and wider spread current instead of a high gush output. i cannot meaure whether it really do pushes more water within the tank. but i do prefer having wider sweep flow which doesn't cause too much turbulent with my mx70

BTW, you need powerful pumps for eductors to work... it basically gushes water out so quickly that it "sucks" water in from the surrounding areas resulting in what seems like more water flow...

Will be running 4 units of Sprying System's Eductors in my new tank. Will take some time though for my tank to set up due to time issues. Also intending to run the Oceansmotions with the Eductors. Once everything is up, will post the performance.

Weisoon, you will be running all dat in addition to streams?

The Eductors will mainly be blowing the bottom of my tank and the 4 streams will be blowing at mid/top of the tank. I will be running bare bottom, so no problem with sand 'flying' around.
