hmmm alot of brands got actinic blue pl, but whether its actinic blue 03 is another thing...

i tink coralife have, but quite ex....

yes limpc, tks for the tip... saw that coralife have the tube.. i found it at petmart too, they selling for $55! and i tot petmart always cheap....hey, they have this clause saying they will beat or match any price at other shops mabbe i can psycho them! hehe...

was acherly fishy abt the true actinic 03 pl when he showed me... but after looking n looking, decided its genuine...

should be abt the same although FL is more energy efficient than PL

but PL is giving out light over a shorter tube hence will be brighter than FL

anyway for your question, 36W is 36W, just means the bulb drinks up 36W of power that's all. However, whether or not the lumen production from the lamp/bulb is the same for either, that's another story.

from wat i heard from the experts, watt for watt the PL gives more lumens than the FL.

hmmm the coralife actinic PL is real stuff. at 36W, it costs $50-55. u can get it from pet mart or like erm Limpc said, aquamart is selling at $50. shld be able to fit the 2 feet tank.....
