I have never used Resun products, actually... not any chinese/taiwanese products as they tend to be of lower quality.

My previous pump was a Rena pump. French I believe. Powerful pump.

And whats the flow rate for the Rena and the Wattage??? can it run the Beckett????

Hon, Alvy did mentioned about the Iwaki lookalike.... I think it MR 55...

I called up a few LFS and all told me that theres no such model....

will be finding more infor about the 1.5, 2 and 3 HP Chillers....

The resun md55 (iwaki clone) has not been brought into Singapore for a long time already.

I met the supplier and he told me there is no demand, so they stopped bringing it in.

I was looking for that too.

If we can raise a demand for such a product, would they bring it in again???

running on 55 watts for that kind of flow rate should be good.....

BTW, what about your rena's flow rate and wattage...?

wat u mean by pressure rated?

Pressure Rated pumps designed to pump into pressure canister filters, Skimmers or any situation that can create back pressure. The pressure models are also suitable for tank return use.

:whistle esp when u use beckett, which actually is a multi-venturi points device
