This year was excellent. Sakura mankai was officially 29th March for Tokyo this year. It has never been so early for decades. It's 2 weeks early this year.

I had a wonderful time in Japan because of all the hanami matsuri and the beautiful blossoms everywhere. It's also very beautiful at the end of the bloom where the petals drop off. Every time the wind blows, the scenery will be filled with pink 'snowflakes' and the ground is covered in pink or white.
