Opinion on Reef Fibre Tank Setup

Heya everyone,

I would like to get opinion if a 6 x 6ft or 5 x 5ft fibre tank is good for reef setup? Trying to visualise how to route the piping to the sump . Anyone who is currently using a fibre tank as the main tank setup, plse kindly offer your opinion.

You are thinking of using one of those blue fiberglass tank right.

1 question how are you going to view?

If custom made, you can ask the manufacturer to make drainage for you. So connecting to sump is not a problem.

I was thinking of cutting the suppose front portion and silicone it with a piece of 15mm glass? I don't think this going to work.....Else, I'll have it as a clam only tank, since clam is best view from top down, showing it's full spectrum colors. Saw some Fibre tank of 4 x 4Ft and 5 x 5Ft @ $1XX, petty cheap, as I rather did invest the additional fund on maintenance equipment to keep the tank healthly -> opinion on a limited budget?
