Now my tank havin diatom. So i guess no need setup first.
But perhaps fill all 4 containers wit rodi water. Cause my hse goin renovation. Really hope all goes well. Not sure hw to protect my tank.

When i once had to drill on the wall near my tank, i forgot to cover the top of my tank.. a lot of concrete dust fell on the tank and also the water.. i realised the floating dust on the water and siphoned it out.. also did a partial water change..
Covering ur tank could prevent the dust from getting into the water and save u a lot of wrk

How to cover? As in e whole tank plus light?
I m gonna put e curtain like cloth along my tank.

Yes, if possible then better to cover.. dust went into my kessil light and i had to open it up to clean the inside
