Beckett Nozzle and Mazzei Injectors

hi guys been thinking of the different between these two

1. which produce finner bubbles

2. which required to use more pressure to operate it using the same pump

need to know the different b4 i diy my skimmer

On long run... I think mazzei will save more money... Beckett require a pressure-rated pump... whereas the mazzei injector dun...

Not very sure abt mazzei injector... But beckett the foam very dense(not sure correct word to use a not)... Very pack...

i don't think u can get either the mazzei injector or the beckett nozzle locally.. (although I think AT is selling a few becketts)...

The beckett has four airtakes for a lot of air/water ratio mix, producing a very thick foam.

The mazzei, I believe, has only one air hole.

Eheim 1260? I thought the correct application is to use a pressure-rated pump like the Beckett?

Which Mazzei size did you get? I hear they are expensive too!

I'm using the 584...and it cost around $80+

A 684 cost the same...

And no it doesn't need a pressure head to run.

Woah... cost twice as much as a Beckett!

But it does look good...

how's the skimming so far?

Though it is running fine, there is still some improvement to be done...Like pinwheel and firing the injector directly into the mixing chamber.....

Have check out RC, the mazzeis are fired directly, not like mine....

That's why the second skimmer is on the way...

My new skimmer will be around 3 ft tall. should be completing soon...

If you want to make something in my posting, the injector chamber has to be shorter (at least 75% shorter)
