got tis msg when i visit RC this morning ard 11am

The ReefCentral Community is temporarily off the air.

We experienced a disk crash this afternoon and are working feverishly to restore the system. With any luck we will be back up and running in the morning as if nothing had happened. Please bear with us and send good wishes to those working on the problem.

We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to see you again soon.

My host is supposed to have backup. But I can never really trust them to restore 100% of all info lost. Happened twice already. :(

I'm not familiar with this but was just wondering if it is possible for moderator to do their own backup onto local computer?

Compress and burn/overburn onto CDW?
