if u dun want to drill any holes, then u've gotta get yourself a external overflow system...our sponsor Ian sells it, its called I~box....i think..

if otherwise, u might wanna DIY yourself by searching thru the DIY forum...

the sump can be easily purchased from most LFS, should cost u not more than $30, since your tank is only 2ft,so at most your sump will only be 2ft.

to be very frank, i would suggest u get a totally new set, tank(with internal overflow) + sump + stand / cabinet. coz u might end up spending more than buying a new set.

simple equation:

2ft tank + sump + stand = appriximately $150-200

i-box + sump = approximately $150

as for the DIY version,i'm not too sure...unless u are very very good in it and fully understands how an overflow works and how to prevent highly possible failure of overflow (flooding your house),i do not recommend it as failure rate is quite high...

it might seem easier to DIY a sump + overflow...but i haf done a few DIY stuffs, but because of poor workmanship, it doesn't really work very well...
