does anyone knows the maxijet powerheads come with the venturi (refer to attached pic ) ? If no, is it possible to get one that fits nicely to the maxijet powerhead ?

I saw this at an overseas website. USD $19.95

so was thinking if any LFS in Singapore sells it. Maxijet 1200 retails in SG I think around $55 but dunno does it comes with the venturi thing or not leh. Any bros can help ?

Don't think so, when I bought my maxijet from water circle, it does not come with the venturi attachment show in your pic.

oic. any bros know where to get the maxijet venturi ? I got one that looks like it from jebo protein skimmer but not sure if it can fits into the maxijet powerhead.

was thinking to try this combination with the weipro 2011 protein skimmer and see if it works

I do advocate the maxijet as I find it low energy consumption but high efficiency. A 'chilli padi' in my sense...

Reborn does carry them and I did see the venturi although i didn't use them with my pumps.

Moreover, it can be placed this way and that way due to the grooves on it sides....

And I have yet to find the three of them that I have...for sale and to let a brother try...

Yep..got "venturi"..but then the air intake is located after the motor..which means that the air will not be blended by the impeller..

It does not come with the venturi on the input side but it does come with one on the output side if I'm not wrong..

I think I got to bring the jebo venturi and try it on the maxijet powerhead input and see if it fits before buying one

If I am not wrong in Singapore Maxijet with Venturi only comes packaged in Seaclone Skimmer - I have one at home with my Seaclone . I have look for them quite some time back but have given up.

But I have check with most LFS they claim that Maxijet itself does not comes with venturi

oic. maybe got to order the venturi from abroad then. jebo 180 protein skimmer comes with a similar venturi but dunno whether can it fits nicely into the maxijet powerhead.

it's not SELF rotating.... yes can manually rotate but not self rotate (key word is SELF).. hehe...
