Sunlight for plankton culturing possible?

just a question for those who have successfully culture planktons..

can i use natural sunlight for culturing them..??

anyone try this before ..

some advice please..

If you mean putting them directly under the sun, then no ....unless you are using chiller.

I am using ambient light to grow mine....growth rate is slow and cannot compare to those using flourscent lighting.

Morgan, you meant put them in the shade (no direct sunlight) next to natural sunlight, as in the balcony inside the flat ok ?

the bottle will be very warm....and then..kill all your phyto
