Rocks turning orangey brown

Yup let it be, It will burn go away by itself. Usually caused by silicates in new sand, once the silicates deplete, so does the diatom.

Alright:) but would it be better if i brush it off? And possibly do a water change cus i think its starting to get onto my sand

how soon usually? and if there is a 2nd bloom?

tank is 6 months old. had the 1st bloom around 2 months old and now a 2nd one. previously using NSW to WC but has since changed to RO/DI with red sea coral pro saltmix. my rocks are covered in purple while the sand is a horrendous brownish:huh:
