SRC Member trader_best Posted April 14, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted April 14, 2004 dun think so they are able to...they need white light to photosynthesis for some corals.... if you use only artinic lights, they may not open up to their max.... my 2 cents, gurus may have better advice
SRC Member Tanzy Posted April 14, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted April 14, 2004 Sun corals and other corals that don't use like can be kept under actinic. Theoretically, if sufficient actinic light is provided, it is possible, but that will be a lot of actinic tubes which will be unrealistic. Quote Warning: Heavy handed moderator in operation.
