can corals rely on just artinic blue light?

just a question .. can corals survive on just blue lights .. let dun talk about clams and SPS ..

any experts can give advice . ?

dun think so they are able to...they need white light to photosynthesis for some corals....

if you use only artinic lights, they may not open up to their max....

my 2 cents, gurus may have better advice

Sun corals and other corals that don't use like can be kept under actinic. Theoretically, if sufficient actinic light is provided, it is possible, but that will be a lot of actinic tubes which will be unrealistic.
