try to get the correct water level and intake of air.. like reef2 mention should have no problem H&S is easy and lives up to his name!

by the way,is it better to have maximum air been taking in,or the lesser the better?

wat is the correct water level?Mine is at 9 inche n the form reaching the cap of the skimmer n not flowing down to the cup for a long time

if the foam is reaching the top of the cup, u need to reduce the air intake. it should help to push up the foam better.

Thanks planetg. Do you get thick 'sludge' build up in the upper chamber? Nice dark skimmate. Can you adjust it to produce drier skimmate?

yes i do get a sludge in the upper chamber at times, depending on the adjustment.

i can adjust to produce thicker foam which will result in quicker formation of the sludge. (i.e. more frequent cleaning!)
