FuEl
Its not a good idea of keeping it in tropical areas. It's a temperate fish requiring temperates below 21-22 degrees celcius. Even if you have the equipment to keep them alive, imagine the countless amount of this beautiful species that will die during shipping, and during the acclimatization. So many individuals put at risk...just to see a few percentage of them being able to pull through and survive in captivity here. Not very humane if you ask me..... Always something more important than fish. http://reefbuilders.com/2012/03/08/sps-pico-reef/

SRC Member freddychin Posted April 14, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted April 14, 2004 I did have this once long ago. I only manage to keep for a month or so I try to adjust the chiller to the best of 24 deg. as I know it need very cold water Cannot go more then this as the glass tank starts to have a layer of water vapour. Temperature inside tank and temperature outside the tank envioroment cause this. Singapore weather I guess it might work if the room also aircon with 21 deg 24, hrs
