Saw this in the news yesterday.  We have such a great legal supply of corals from all over the world here in Singapore, why do this kind of thing?

Corals are fast becoming a limited natural resource. With more restrictions and tighter laws in place to prevent and/or mitigate the collection of corals, no doubt the black market/illegal trade of corals will become more apparent.
