SRC Member soggycookies Posted February 21, 2018 SRC Member Share Posted February 21, 2018 The Angel that I love the most, yet it is the most aggressive in my tank... sigh~ Has the same problem but with my regal. So much for being a ‘timid and gentle’ fish hahahaha he was pretty much the boss of the tank and would chase anyone just for Swimming in his way. Ended up selling him off cause he began to nip at my zoas and palys. Kinda sad cause he was a great fish. Makes me feel like going FOWLR hahaSent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

SRC Member LoReNsIa Posted February 23, 2018 Author SRC Member Share Posted February 23, 2018 Setup a Quarantine Tank last night for my French Angel... Sad to say that it is down with Lympocitis Disease. Having Lumps on the fins... Luckily that i have manage to catch it during feeding time. I've use an Art Knife to slowly remove the extra Lump to prevent it spreading. Read online that Lympocitis will keep growing for 3-4weeks before dropping out from the fish body or fins. when it's out of the body, that's the most dangerous moment as the disease form the lump will spread to fishes with open wound and grow on their body to deteriorate the health of the fish. Baby French starts to swim normally in the QT tank. Almost killed my French Angel, as i place it on a dry tissue while removing the lump from it fins and body. Advice to reefer who wants to do this, is best to do in the water, but will be challenging as the fish get more active. Keeping my finger cross now. Hope that he will get well soon! Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app Hi Jidan, i've just place corals of their same family together, so that they will not sting each other. yes, my corals is from frag and grew to this size. for myself, i use art knife to remove them from frag plug and stick on to a nice rock that i have in my tank with super glue gel and allows them to grow looking naturally in my tank. i'm still learning. haha. still a newbie, as compared to many senior reefer in the forumn.
