Fish stuck in between

Hi fellow reefers.. I have a dead fish stuck in the gap of my overflow box which can only access by the bottom of the gap.. But problem is.. Most of his body is stuck in tat narrow gap in between.. Hence. Pulling its tail out would only dislocate it and not able to get the rest of the body out.. Sighs.. Will a small fish cause a massive pollution or spikes in the tank?? Really have no idea how to get his body out in one piece

Oh no... your situation is worst cos the fish still have hope of saving it but just dn know how hopefully he figure out a way to go out just like how he came in!

Use a wet vacuum and attached a small hose or use a small hose and suck everything out with mouth power. There are small hose slightly larger than air pump tubes. Find the right size.

Let it be. Just try to do water change slightly more often will do.

Depending on your tank size and water volume .unless your tank is a nano tank else I think it will only cause an increase in nitrate , and if you are worried, You Can dose bacteria to prevent ammonia spike

Just keep up with small water changes over a week and you’ll be fine. If you have a large system and sump filtration, it’s not a big issue at all unless you’re keeping really delicate corals
