FuEl
Saw the one at Reborn yesterday...yup...not the peppermint as I do own one. It's rather another form of cleaner shrimp but I believe this one is not clam-safe... My two cents' worth... not clam safe? how sure are you on this? Was thinking of getting 2..but won't if it will disturb my maxima..that's the reason why i sold off my bumblebee shrimps.. Always something more important than fish. http://reefbuilders.com/2012/03/08/sps-pico-reef/

SRC Member chrislwp Posted May 4, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted May 4, 2004 I bought 1 too.. looks cute.. will meditate in the middle of the night when all lights off.. standing on LR close to water surface and looking at the LED bluelight only .. But the next day missing already...must have become my hawkfish supper already. Bought a big camel later.. also eaten alrady. Funny thing is that my 2 cleaner and 1 fireshrimp are doing fine. SRC Member chrislwp Posted May 4, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted May 4, 2004 I was there when they were unpacking that lot of fish. I told Linda that that was not the real peppermint, and also told her the proper name. It seems that in their opinion, the words of their Ph supplier holds more weight than mine So is this the real peppermint that I saw in PR? There are lots more http://www.korallenriff.de/lexikon/l_rathbunae.html This website in UK even put this camel like shrimp as peppermint http://www.reefkeeper.co.uk/pages/peppermintshrimps.htm Tank 4x2x2.
