Ya, nice fish and good temperment. Minding its own biz doing laps in the tank and into rock-scape.

Maybe if no one wants and too long in my tank and begin to love it, may do a re-scape just to accomodate it.

can a 3 ft tank bring the blue tang in?

No. 3ft tank even without all the LRs and other LS, already not enough space for this fish this size. Further this BT is big and very active. Always swims at the front of the tank.

Blue Tang needs lots of space and they really do laps in your tank.

I don't even recommend 4 ft if it is cramp up.
