I like the dimensions of the tank. Good for scaping. Look forward to more pics & updates.

Yes agree, have it in the best corner with the least natural light hitting. Or oyama the sides.

Also, try to have 2 returns.
If I ever have another tank, 2 returns , and 2 chillers with the 2nd one ready to cool 0.5 degree above the first one to cover for failure.

Second hand skimmer for detection, etc is cheap. I bought h n s and deltec apf600 for less than 80 each.

Tank : 4 X 2 X 2 with low iron front panel and external overflow

Skimmer : BK SM200 with waste collector

Return Pumps : Red Dragon 6m3 and Ehiem 1262

FR : 2 X Deltec 509 & powered by AB2000

Nitrate Filter : Deltec NF 509 and tee off from AB2000

Calcium R'tor : Deltec PF 501 with RM secondary chamber

Kalkwasser R'tor : Deltec KM500

Chiller : Pansonic 1 HP Compressor with 20m titanium Coil

Wave Makers : 4 X Tunze 6055 with 7096 & Vortec MP40w

Controller : GHL Profilux

Lighting : ATI Powermodule 10 or 8 tubes

Water Top-up : Water Top-Up tank powered by Tunze Osmolator

External Monitor : American Pinpoint pH and Temp. Monitor for main tank and GHL Profilux Controller to measure temp, pH, Redox

Ozonizer : Sander C50

UV : Corallife 6x

From yr sump, u should find out the length and width and maintenance clearance height. Water lvl issue can be solved by adding base to the skimmer.

Water level issue now is the most 8-9” only so I can’t have much choice for skimmer choice. I research most of the skimmer need 9.5 -11 inch of water

That looks like a 312, so that volume weighs about 170kg.

That’s a lot of weight on a smaller cabinet which may not be designed to take such loads.. would recommend to chg to one which is at least the same footprint as your tank & able to take the load, this way the even supports will prevent unbalanced stresses on the tank seams which may develop into leaks long-term.

Meanwhile, have to ensure no one places uneven weight on your current setup. JMO & all the best
