Any nice fishes to recommend for my 2.5ft ?

Recommended Posts

I have a 2.5ft by 1.5ft by 1.5ft approx (30gallon) tank with the following. Ultimate aim is to keep 1 small blue tang when my tank is more mature.

In the mean time I think I can keep another 2-3 small fishes (dont grow too big kind) before getting a small blue tang.

Preference is bright stricking nice coloured ones and pricing less than $30 each. Also prefer middle water swimmer cause I already have alot crawling on the sandbed.

Damsels, Lions, eels and other predatory or highly territoral fishes will not be considered. Anthias is out as well given that I cannot accomodate a school of them.

Anyone has any good recommendations to share?

That has always been on mine mind as well. Was waiting for the possibility of the Royal Gamma but unfortunately that did not materialise.

Was looking at all the options I can possibly have. Limited space availability so got to be extra cautious.

Left out 1 most important criteria for selection is that it must be 100% reef safe.

Pipefish is nice as well if you wan... Especially Jann's pipefish... My precious...:wub::wub:

but seem difficult to feed.. ;)

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

Can considered yellow Clown goby. They have bright intense yellow and small. Bioload to the tank is small and they are not shy at all. Can always see them around in the tank.Clown Goby is a low maintenance fish and will co-exist well in a reef tank with other peaceful fish.
