OIC was wondering why you said got problem with water flow out to sump....

The size of the overflow make a difference. A fact that many people tend to miss out. Not just the size of the output pipe. Think reef central got a calculator to calculate the recommended size for desired flow rate.

I had wanted to make my as small as I can make it (7x7inch.) but ended up with one thats 11inch x 8. The size of an A4 page!! but what to do. :(

hmmm....after viewing Alan's thread on his 5 footer......am considering adding Argonite sand!??? :huh:

Wonder pet mart sells them? Can anybody advise?

no pet mart dont sell...

and there r alot of size grade diff and also the smaller the grade the more ex it is...

go to sealife they carry alot..

Sea Life is in Hong Leong right? I always confuse Sea Life and Marine Life....pai say! :heh:

By the way, you use the samllest grade huh? :huh: May I ask if there is any difference? or its just purely comfortable to your eye sight?! :huh: Appreciate your advise.

Will go get a packet.....volume of sand not a concern right! ;) Must be damp expensive....Sigh! <_<

Its my 5th day of cycling the sand and aging the water (since 9th April)....and I notice there are some dark patches in the sand.....hmm.....dead organism?? :huh:

Should I stir the sand??!!! <_<

Full tank view.....intend to have LR on the left and tonga on the right.......and leave as much space as possible in the middle..... :look:
