T5 is a good idea if you can afford.. But if I'm not wrong I've seen people mentioning in this forum before that you really shouldn't use MH lights on 2ft tanks because the MH lights will fry the 2ft tanks.. So IMO the best option for 2 footers would be T5...

Y worry, with a proper rated chiller (150/250/400) MH also can do for a 2ft tank but do take into consideration on the type of corals u gonna keep...some r light demandin some r not. So better dun go put those tat requires low light one direct under ur MH (be it 150-400W). Else, T5 would be sufficient but better to have at least 4tubes and above. Think danano had 6 tubes. and he is runnin Ice Probe to cool his tank. IMO, a 250W will be a good choice.....even if u were to upgarde in future, i belive the 250W will still be in use rather than the 150W. ;)

There are 2 types of person, those that chose learn n do it rite the first time and those tat chose to learn it the hard way.

but i think the price of a ice probe is a only a little cheaper than a cheap chiller

than is it adviceable to get a chiller?

currently me using fan to cool the temp down

get a chiller! And get a bigger one for that matter, in case you ever want to upgrade your tank (which is almost a given) no need to buy another chiller...
