Calcium 440 (salifert)
Magnesium 1400 (salifert)
Phosphate undetectable (salifert)
Nitrate undetectable (salifert)
Potassium 250 (salifert)

Just found out how low my potassium levels were 2 days ago now using potassium chloride to raise the levels 10ppm per day to 400.

For nitrate im adding calcium nitrate to raise nitrate by 2.5ppm per day but test kit will show undetectable on the next day. ( might be increasing dosage till i can maintain around 5ppm)

Pics of refugium and sump....nothing special in the sump just skimmer, biopellet reactor and calcium reactor.

Nope....no problem with nitrate. In fact im actually dosing calcium nitrate.

I guess a good mechanical filter upstream of the coral chips prevents detritus from building up in the media & creating what might be termed as a ‘nitrate factory’

Anyway nice vol of biomedia there, I’m trying to max out my biofiltration media too for natural nutrient control

Wow ur rbta exploded. Mine was like 2 split to 8. But it took like a year. Care to share how fast it split or that cluster is just like how many? It's huuuge. U feed it?

Split from 1 to 12 in 8 months.....i dont target feed them but the bta is located just under my auto feeder so should get some pellets sometimes
