Crocea Dying?

I've noticed that my Crocea's mantle have been curling outwards against it's shell when extended.. It's mantle used to be outstretched when extended... What is happenning? is it dying? Please help... My Maxima is doing fine..

nope not gaping... still very responsive to lighting changes... but when it extends it's mantle, the mantle curls outwards touching it's shell.. don't know why.

It might be the process of forming new scutes...I'm not too sure..but I don't think you need to be overly worried about it..my maxima does that periodically too..

Wow... thats real good to hear... Really hope it's true... But it's been doing that for 3 days now.. is that normal? How long does this unusual mantle extension usually last?
