anyway, that looks like your everyday nuisance hairy crab,

when it grows big enough, and it will...

it will topple rocks, coral placements and possibly

ambush and kill small fish.

IMO, get rid of all of them

How to resize smaller ah? I really donno. Can somebody explain please. And is this the same as the hairy crab which is edible?

Unfortunately, nope. When they get big they can be a threat.

To resize:

1. Go to Microsoft Paint

2. Open the image file

3. Go to image.

4. Select Stretch/Skew

5. Go change the % values of the horizontal and vertical sketch.Example:If the image is to be shrunk by 1/2 both vertically and horizontally, enter 50%.

Haha...i got the same crab!!! Come with my LR...

But once i put my wrasse in...saw the crab dead in its usual burrow....lolx...

But the crabs are quite interesting. I've decided to keep a crab tank. THey are multiplying. I only have a goby and a boxer shrimp. The crabs don't grow bigger than 2cm, so not to worry.

they only eat dead fish .... i dont they killed yoru anthias and pbt ... they should have died first before the crabs got to them ...

argh... then my suspicion of having a mantis is true? wah... Sporadically hear loud clicks loud enough to make me worry about my glass shattering... dunno if it is mantis..

I think so too. they generally eat only dead and decaying stuff.

Any way, my biggest crab, about 2c,m long, is dead. I think died of old age.

Definitely not snails.. I've heard my astrea snails knock their shells on the glass before.. totally different... The clicks I hear are piercing, loud, high pitch..
