salinity level increase

Hi, I set up my tank for about 4 months. Recently the salinity level always increase till 1.03 level. Every night I increase the water level. but second day water reduce and I test the salinity level, increase again. So is this normal?

Yup its normal. The water will be evaporated but the salt remains. that's why we topup with fresh water.

Change water every week? Normally I change once a month. About 10-20% of the water. Do you normally absorb out all those dirty stuff in in the sandbed?

You mean too high?? The standard salinity level for marine tank is about 1.023sg , no?

Yup,

Top up with fresh water, not salt water!! and check salinity once in a while to maintain it at around 1.023sg.

Water change is best 5-10% every two weeks than 10-20% every month if my understanding is correct. And yes, your water change will be best if you take as much waste as possible out of the aquarium. So best is to siphon the sand. All this decaying stuff will contribute to NH3 -> NO2 -> NO3.
