Coral shrink to bones after lights off.

This is how it looks like before the lights go off. But shortly after lights off it will look shrivelled. Then later on it recovers.

Any idea why? Or it this normal?

Your coral also goes into skeleton mode before fattening again? It's the only coral in my ya k that does that.

Yes..i see my duncan n hammer goes ito skeleton mode when light off n fatten up the next day..xenia N gsp oso will shrink..Some zoas will closed up..
