I think the picture quality affected your judgement. On closer look its crystal glass to me. For normal glass the green edge will be much darker. I have also compared with another glass panel ( back panel ) which is normal glass and the green tint is way more deeper. That said, I was told that crystal glass comes with different grade, some very top grade crystal glass comes not as light green tint but rather very light bluish tint. cedricang
Hi Ken, don't mention at all We are all here to try learn something from this forum. When I got my tank I was like you thinking that I didn't get the crystal as agreed with the tank maker, after some explanation from the tank maker then I learnt that there are different grade of crystal glass. Also I was told that the green tint is caused by some amount of iron which were added during the glass manufacturing process to made the glass tougher. But I have yet to understand for those high grade crystal glass that has lesser green tint does it mean that it is less tough / hard ? that I have yet to get an answer...perhaps some kind bros could provide some answer to help me understand 1 Quote Treat others the way you wanna be treated... Reef2Max
Since there is no silicone glue and white tape included in the tank set, my friend suggest that I better do a water test before to check for any leak ..
