Reef to the max journey to the sea

Hi everyone from singapore reef club , 

I am starting this topic to share my new journey and tank build to the salty side , and hopefully learn something new along the way from the expert here

A little info on the tank build

Tank ; RedSea Reefer Deluxe 250

Lighting ; 2 x AI Hydra HD which come with the tank set 

Return Pump ; AquaBee 3000 

Skimmer ; Yet to be decided 

Wavemaker ; Yet to be decided 

Chiller ; Yet to be decided 

 

Tank finally arrived by two delivery guy.. Nicely pack into two carton box  , one which contain the main display tank, sump, everything else and the other contain the cabinet.

The Auto top up valve is included as well, anyone know what is the purpose for the black sponge in the overflow compartment in the sump ?

unfortunately no .. I already finished setting up the tank, and surprising it is not that difficult i though it will be. Will post more photos shortly of the build once i download the photos

The black sponge is known as bubbles trapper..to prevent air bubbles in ur last compartment n to ur return pump..

The lego build begin with the help of my friend. So excited to set up a new tank .. heehee
