SRC Member Xtrader Posted February 8, 2017 SRC Member Share Posted February 8, 2017 See photo below. Can we reconnect the wire, seal with silicon and submerged into water, is it safe? Is there a way to reconnect the wire from the inside? Is there any such service? Thanks for the advice. Quote http://www.huatleow.com
Seano
I don't think it's ever going to be as safe as the factory cable. Personally I don't mess with 240V and water.Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
SRC Member kenyee Posted February 8, 2017 SRC Member Share Posted February 8, 2017 May I know what device is this?return pump?running on what voltage? Next is is there a way to open up the device to access to the cabling section? If not, u can reconnect the wire..insulated the phases well..hot glued the area or silicone or shrink tube till no water can enter.. If this device is not ex, get a new 1..
