In the progression of setting up a new tank .

Bleaching and Vinegar soak all the rocks to ensure no pest or hitchhikers

Bleached the rocks for a day,and scrubbed the next day

Follow by bleaching 2nd round for a day and rinse it with tap water multiple times .

Then soak in tap water for 2 days with multiple water change .

I then add anti chlorine and soaked the rocks for 1-2 days, repeated this steps twice .

Lastly ,soaked the rocks with vinegar for a day and sun dry it till fully dry.

By the amount of water that i use to soak the rocks ,its kinda waste of rodi water
And when bleach totally evaporates, toxic chlorine is gone,so i guess it shld be alright .

Actually I'm not worry abt ur chlorine levels since u already added anti chlorine. It's the level of undetectable heavy metals and nasty stuff that will get absorbed into ur new rocks.

Nice setup. Look forward to more progress pics.

I won't be overly worried about soaking stuff in tap water.

I agreed it's not that critical to be over anxious abt it but I thot since his rocks already go thru like 3 rds of soaking, can do a bit more by using rodi water.

Looks good!! That's a lot of rocks

The rocks on the right - are those resin rocks or natural rocks?
