hi guys,

was just wondering whether ther are such shops in Singapore which are like Home Depot or Walmart? those kind where you can buy lots of DIY stuff(other than DIY shop la) :lol::lol::lol:

The DIY shops i know of are Home-Fix... Vin-Mart... Selffix... And Handy-Man Centre...

The first three shops i have gone to some of the branches before... Vin-Mart is not bad quite a lot of things... Selffix and Home-Fix the thing quite limited... Handy-Man Centre never go before but heard got quite a lot of things...

I believe the DIY shops in Singapore are very very expensive... small things you can get at your neighbour hood hardware store are often much cheaper...

The only difference is that the commercial ones tend to bring in better brands (which also mean more expensive brands) but they probably work the same...
