Accidentally added tap water to tank

Hi bros, I just did 10% water change with tap water and salt mix and blur blur forgot to dechlorinate the water before i dumped it into my tank. Panicking now. I actually made this mistake with my freshwater tanks before but nothing bad happened. Not so sure for my reef tank though. Should i be worried??

Just ur nirate and prophate go up...but maybe do another 20% water change

Hey last time I did this my cleaner shrimp kept twitching and almost died. I quickly double dosed prime and he immediately stopped twitching. You got prime?

10% tap water should not cause much issue with the tank.  Unless your tap water quality is really really bad.

If want play safe, dose Seachem Prime for Chlorine and run Carbon.

haha yea, agree with above can dose prime. but think if u aerate your water long enough (i.e. 24hrs) the chlorine will dissipate. only left the ammonia from the chloramines in the tap water

Yup, I dosed seachem straight into the tank. So far no issues, my inverts doing OK I think. My fish don't care. Thanks for the advice, people
