SRC Member JMW Posted October 29, 2016 SRC Member Share Posted October 29, 2016 Try to refrain feeding mysis & pellets for awhile, just put nori on the clip? It might also help to break up abit of nori in small bits, fish tend to nip at small bits floating in the current

SRC Member digibee Posted December 28, 2016 SRC Member Share Posted December 28, 2016 Steps to train your tang to munch on seaweeds:- Knock on your tank glass to attract the tang attention Bring out a piece of seaweed when the tang is looking at you Put the seaweed in your mouth and munch it... The tang will see and learn ... Just kidding ..... Once the tang is happy in the tank; they will eat anything you throw in including the seaweed. Your tang is not eating seaweed now; coz it is unhappy or stressed out. 1 Quote () Happy will do ... (o_o)
blackghost
i dont train my tangs also but whenever i feed using a clip it takes one nip to launch the whole tank into a feeding frenzy and i do alternate between feeding pellets, frozen foods (mysis, brine) and seaweed i have a mixture of clowns, chromis, coral beauty and 3 tangs (blue, yellow and sailfin)
SRC Supporter Harlequinmania Posted December 28, 2016 SRC Supporter Share Posted December 28, 2016 Some time have to try with different type of seaweed until you found one that they like best.
