Hi everyone,

I am thinking of getting a chiller, but the energy consumption's putting me off. I'm eyeing the Teco RA680, which runs at 420W. Just want to ask from experienced people here, what's the average time for which your chiller runs per hour to maintain a temp of 26C? 20mins? BTW, I'm talking about a 4-footer.

What kind of lights are you using? How long are they left on? How hot is the air around the tank? You can set the temperature to 27 or even 28 to save some electricity.
