what star fish is reefsafe ??

The red and blue linkias or the sand shifting sea star should do the trick of eating detritus and also help in sifting sand but must have a DSB though. :)

so the name of the sand shifter star fish is called linkias.. THANKS SIS... :yeah::yeah::lol:

Sand shifting stars are considered to be bad for DSB and plenum systems because they will decimate sand fauna required for a working sand bed. I will consider sand sifters non reef safe.

hun...not reefsafe...i do not have a DSB and my corals are stack high up on my LR..can i still keep sandshifter stars . ?? THANKS :lol:
