where to get grade 0 or 1 sand?

hi all,

I am in the process of setting up a 4ft marine tank and recently some reefer mentioned that they bought grade 0 sand from LFS and found out that there small metal pieces in it...Therefore to play safe, i like to ask where to get grade 0 and 1 sand at good price and good quality.Thanks

A bit of small metal bits is fine and can be cleaned with magnets.

What we were referring to is a lot of metal bits. Probably like 10-20% of the total of the sand.

Just avoid the yellow bag ones.

If petmart sells the yellow bag ones then avoid at all cost
