One Skimmer not foaming

Hi all,

currently trying to run 2 skimmers at the same time, they are placed in my sump side by side, however, one of the skimmers does not skim/foam at all... Why?

Anyone got any idea?

if i am not wrong, one of the skimmer will outpower the other.

but if there is no skimmate at all, it may be becuz of the configuration

hmm... so sad, was hoping to improve the skimming...

2 skimmer next to each other will not help....cos 1 of them will not skim at all....unless both is far away...each side fo the tank...then it will help to skim better....

Hmmm... why is that so?

wat if i place them on a different compartment of the sump?

B4 I upgraded to my Aqua EV400 a few mths back, I had 2x250L Sanders side by side. Both units skimmed but one always did better than the other ... cld be due to the configuration, don't know, as it was installed by the original supplier.

my 2 skimmers put side by side near the same part of the sump always skim individually...doesnt seem to be affected by each other

when i bought my H&S to complement my aquaC, many said one will render the other useless.....but in the end both also skim...

just like the 20ft mega tank in USA we saw in here recently, he was running 3 H&S skimmers side by side...next to each other....

Check the rising column for muck buildup..too much can impede the rising of the foam.
