I also like the method of using a DI filter after filling up the tank with tap water. Creative idea! I will do this once I convert one of my tank to keep coral. Currently I am on FOWLR.

Lol... Peacock bass, arowana, pleco, guppy, betta, planted tank. U name it.... Lol. Go one round and back.

Now getting older, lower energy level. Sold away all fw fish and tank to fund and settle for a single reef tank.

Ya.. Glad to be back.

Pleco with planted... Unless your pleco is tiny or your plant is cheap.. Lol

It's a fast grower, can see new white shell under it's mantle.

Nice yellow zoas with nice hitchhiker rock anemones
