SRC Member clowntrigger Posted March 26, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted March 26, 2004 First you must be clear what you want, you want the pump with the needle wheel or just the pump? If you want the former, I don't think you can get the pump with the needle wheel together in SG, eg Aquabee and Eheim. If have, it will command a very high price. But if you want to know which pump can be use with a needle wheel, it will be Aquabee 2000/2000l/3000, Eheim 1260 and Sendra, and you make your DIY needle wheel to fix on it. SRC Member CalciumReef Posted March 29, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted March 29, 2004 sedra pump hard to get in SG ...u might want to consider eheim instead...You will have to make the needle wheel yourself...not any easily available bioball...after that you will have to farbicate the skimmer body.Without proper machinery, its not easy. These equipment require precision cuts....if you ask others to fabricate for you that will incur high labour cost.So think twice before you embark on the skimmer project.
