Magnet

Anyone have any idea where to get relatively powerful magnet? I need it to screen through my sandbed cause I discover that there seems be quite a lot of tiny metal fragments lying around.

I am trying to get old useless speaker which I can dismantle and take the magnet but in vain. Anyone have one to spare?

i think i still have my very very strong pair of magnet... i bet u cant pull it apart with ur hand

i use speaker magnets

one is about 30cm diameter

Are those magnets found in the tank glass cleaner strong enuff? (ie the 2 pieces that u use to clean glass from outside and inside?)

Thanks for the offer. I manage to savage a old computer speaker magnet which is small. I see whether it works or not. Or else I will definitely give u a ring. Btw, which area u r in?

But if u use that ur glass cleaner will be cannot be used for cleaning the glass anymore since the metal fragments will sticking strongly onto the magnet and very hard for you to remove it.

Still better to get a sacrificial magnet.

how bout taking a small plastic bag or paper bag to wrap round the magnet first before using???

can try.... but dun think magnet power would be affected so much...
