want to know if my skimmer is gd enough

hi bros,

wants to double check with u guys about the stats of my skimmer..

currently using weipro 2012 with dymax pump 1200l/hr..

read up and found that its actually not sufficent for my 250gallon 5x2x2ft tank..is that true?

can i have another skimmer.. a jebo skimmer or another weipro skimmer.. or any1 to recommand a better skimmer but not too expensive..budget concern thanks..

2012 is for 100gallon only...5x2x2 is much more than that.....not enough.....you should oversize the skimmer....

even 2014 is only for 150 gallon...

I believe ur pump is also not strong enough. 2012 need at least 2500l/hr pump.

so if i change the pump for my 2012 and get another 2014.. is that enough? that will add up the cost to about 300+bucks?

2014 about 70bucks 2 pump about $250 ?

Imo, probably you want to juz carry on using the 2012 with a stronger pump for now. 2012 will most likely have to work hard.

Once you are more comfortable interms of investing on ur tank, you can then re-evaluate your situation and options avail to u before upgrading to a better skimmer.
