Help... Micro Bubble from Skimmer...

I am now using a Weipro 2011... After i installed it a lot of micro bubbles are coming out of the output of the skimmer... Is there any way to lessen it... Other den putting the sponge at the output... I didnt put cos too ugly... All my Lr got lots of bubbles on them....

trim the sponge.u can easily saw it away to halve its current height and it still works.

I doubt it will work. If it really works then why would they include such huge sponge?!.. its definitely for a reason.

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

give it some time to break in , i got the same problem 4 day ago but now no bubbles in tank liao haha :)

I think Max is right, your skimmer is running in, may take a few days for the bubbles to go away. Check out the instructions, it may have mentioned that.

if u worry about ur coral or fish too stress becos of bubbles u can tie a sponge outside ( before the water goes to the tank) to filter out the bubbles for a few day till ur skimmer break in :)

actually i 'm also worried a couple of days ago i keep posting to most reef site and ppl all told me to wait .believe me in a few days it will be gone (only a small amount of bubble will be seen )
