dreamscape
There is no easy way to completely remove bubble algae. Mine has been around for awhile. U just have to keep removing it by hand and during water change and hope it will go away. Emerald crab will eat these algae. U can get some to help with the removal. However the crab will most likely burst the bubble and release the spore before eating. Hence the bubble algae will continue to reappear. SRC Member JMW Posted June 5, 2016 SRC Member Share Posted June 5, 2016 Manual removal can work, what has worked for me is to remove the rock from the tank, use a satay stick to dig out the entire bubble with its hard root. This is important so that it doesn't burst & spread spores.

SRC Member Jason Ng Posted June 14, 2016 Author SRC Member Share Posted June 14, 2016 Thanks Julius It's too much for me to discard the rock. It's all over the DT, rocks, sandbed. Even on the urchin😯 Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
