Five foot tank

Wow nice collection of fishes.. 

But is this 1 small rocks enough? Won't they fight  ?

Interesting tank..dirt below the rocks either mean insufficient flow or wrong scape with dead spot..of coz the appealing look of a tank is up to individual, i just find it weird with just a small piece of rock in a big tank..anyway nice fishes u got..cheers

I agreed no sand is the best..BB easier to maintain..Imho, FOWLR look ok without sand as Many fishes will B swimming ard n thru the rocks n caves that wont make u look at the bottom..haha..Anyway look is to each its own..no sand no sand storm oso..can have strong current..big fishes like..heez

For my sump I just use two pack of ceramic bio rings , skimmer in the second compartment , third compartment for quarantine new fish and lady compartment for return pump . I notice put more bio rings in the sump actually doesn't help much . Just keep the sump simple . I noticed after I remove the bio rings in the third compartment of my sump there are no effect to the tank at all .

Bio rings would collect detritus too, if the earlier filter floss or sponge is not trapping enough particulate matter.
