Tank cycle advise..

Hi,

I would like to know which is recommended,

My current tank is cycled with tap water coming to a mth.. so now is do i need to do major WC? Like 50% or i need more to bring my nitrate down as there is no LS currently.

Or its useless, just wc at 10% will do with NSW/saltmix to rapidly remove the nitrate/phos

Just to add on if u don't want to always be doing 50% wc just to correct nutrient level, it will be good to adopt one of the many nutrient export system readily available, depending on what u want to keep. From keeping Cheetos to using bacterials the list goes go.. Read and understand these system and choose a system that best suits your reefing style

10% is not enough to bring down the nitrate and phosphate level. Like you said , best to do a 50% wc to help correct the parameters

Ok thank you.. guess im going to do major wc once and for all since no LS, easier to be done now than wait for problem to come
