Bro,

wun be able to confirm until another 2-3 weeks, coz the colony I have is abit bleached and the colour looks like the rainbow millis, but bleached.... now waiting for it to colour up...

I took the risk to buy it coz it looks similar, but I tink its a big gamble, coz it can turn out to be anything... :P

Started my 5 feet tank thread lately, but cannot 4get my current 3 feet thread! :P

Anyway, an update :

Recently changed my pump for my Beckkett skimmer from a Resun MD55 to a Iwaki MX100...

When I was using the MD55... it usually takes 4-6 days for my collection cup to turn dirty... And I convinced myself to tink that my tank's nutrients very low liao... coz the 1st 2-3 days after I clean the cup usually nothing much stuff is skimmed ( cup still pretty clean )...

After i fixed up the Iwaki MX100...... :blink::blink:

Now it takes less than two days for the cup to be dirty... Due to the power of the pump, I also tuned my air valve to very small opening and very fine bubbles are formed by the beckett....

Sound wise, I would consider the MX100 to be slightly noisier than the MD55... with the MX100n rated at 75 decibels... I guess the MD55 would be around 60-65 decibels... :)

Just to share my experience.... anyone still using the MD55 can consider upgrading the pump if u wan better performance! :D :D :D

Have been having some of my SPS turning RTN lately... Spoke to one senior reefer and he mentioned could be me increasing my kh too fast as recently coz my co2 tank ran out and my kh dipped to about 5.7dkh...

I also suspected that I got some flow problem as I shifted the flow abit lately in my tank...

Den today, when my lights are off and I wanted to feed my corals... I saw this...
